For IAEA: is it a good alternative for dismissing nuclear waste?

We still don't seem to have a grip over the managemant of Nuclear Waste that is getting piled up. The idea of pushing below the earth's mantle (into the 'Core') is an idea worth pursuing but one must reckon an attendent danger; that of it getting thrown up into the atmosphere in the event of a big volcanic eruption (like Krakatau or Pinatubo). Disseminated widely into atmosphere the ill-effects will be available to every man, woman, child, animal or tree !
