IM A IN LOVE WITH A GUY HELP!?

Ok so Im a and I have a girlfriend who I have been with for 4 months. I am also close friends with this guy I know who's a detective, I have known him for years I watched him go from a patrol man, to a Narcotics Agent, to a very well respected detective. And here lately I have had multiple dreams with him in it, the first dream is one I could have done without if you get my drift and the others were just things with him in it or whatever. I have developed feelings for him, he is an amazing person and I have a ridiculous amount of respect for him, but as much as I hate to say this I think I might be in love with him, but he is also married with a baby on the way, so what should I do?
