I have just finished a childcare course?

I enrolled on a home learning course with darnley career academy and have finished and recieved a diploma. Is this an actual qualification that I could use to apply for jobs at nurserys or is it just a piece of paper that shows I was interested in that field and have determination to work in that area. Because the course was really easy and the whole think was just tests with multi choice answers. It just doesn't seem enough to earn a 'real' diploma. Im a bit annoyed cause it cost my 500 quid to enrol. Please help?
