"No man is an island, we are all a part of the main." This philosophy can be apply to the development of global economies. Evaluate where the line should be drawn between cooperation, involvement in worldwide issues and events, and when self-preservation needs to be the primary concern. (I understand what the quote is saying and I just need input about the United States society and *in your own opinion* where the line should be drawn. (sources would be VERY nice). I just need a firm grasp of US society in all parts of the US. Thanks for your input.
